June Tan – CEO

Intellitrain is headed by June Tan, a qualified lawyer, management and training consultant with more than 15 years of experience in legal and key management roles across a broad spectrum of industries (including training, business consulting, information technology/e-commerce, venture capital, franchising, legal practice). Before setting up Intellitrain, June was actively involved in event management, training and development for 6 years, first as a consultant and facilitator with a local action-based training consultancy and then as Director of Training for The Law Society of Singapore. In the former capacity, she developed and facilitated action-based training programmes on leadership, team-building and communication skills for a range of corporate clients ranging from local small and medium-sized enterprises to multi-national corporations. In the later capacity, she has a proven track record of delivering results for the Society’s Continuing Professional Development portfolio. She has almost 8 years of experience working with and in associations.

She is a Member of the American Society of Association Executives, AMCInstitute (formerly International Association of Association Management Companies) and Singapore Academy of Law. [more about June]

 

Gabriel Lim – Director, Events & Operations

Gabriel heads Intellitrain’s Operations Department and brings with him more than 13 years of experience in the banking industry as well as 10 years working with and in non-profit organisations, education and training. He brings with him an in-depth understanding of the banking sector having worked with both European and Asian banks. Further, Gabriel has extensive experience in working with the non-profit sector having been involved in marketing, fund-raising, volunteer management and event management efforts with various VWOs and charitable organisations/initiatives including Club Rainbow Singapore, Children’s Cancer Foundation, Jurong Health Connect as well as with the President’s Challenge. He has spearheaded and organised charity efforts through charity dinners, food and fun-fairs, car rallies, auctions, wine-tastings, and even teddy bear adoptions. Over the years, Gabriel has conducted induction and training programmes and worked with hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life.

Gabriel’s role in Intellitrain includes overall implementation and operationalisation of all client meetings and events, as well as in providing book-keeping and accounts administration support. [more about Gabriel]

Shandy Poh – Events Consultant

Shandy is responsible for the supervision of Intellitrain’s Events Department and the administration of events of Intellitrain and its association clients. She brings with her 7 years of experience as a conference administrator handling regional events in China, Thailand and Singapore. As Events Consultant, Shandy works with the Client Services & Events Executives in delivering the full range of pre-event, event and post-event management including:
  • Delegate/participant registration
  • Sponsor & exhibitor prospect development, negotiation & management
  • Event communications, marketing & promotions
  • Social programme arrangement & management
  • Travel, transportation & accommodation arrangement

Geraldine G Agustin – Client Services & Events Executive

Geraldine brings with her 10 years of diverse working experience in events, office administration as well as accounting and finance. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA), she spent 3-4 years working as an Accountant before moving into the field of services. She was formerly a full-time Minister for 4 years before embarking on her career in events planning and administration.

With her cheerful and people-oriented disposition, Geraldine puts her accounting and events background to good use as one of our Client Services and Events Executives, providing the following support to our clients and their members:

  1. Membership helpdesk
  2. Meetings management
  3. General coordination and communications with client committees, members, collaboration partners.
  4. Event & Registration enquiries
  5. Registration updates & payments
  6. Onsite event management
  7. Post event management

 

Janice Tay – Corporate Development Consultant

Janice combines her IT qualifications with a dedication to delivering impeccable customer service. She has more than 7 years of experience in providing membership services, technology-based services and support to various professional body clients of Intellitrain. This includes several years as IT Officer for the Law Society. Janice provides critical communication services support to our association clients in the following areas:
  • Designing, developing, updating and maintaining their websites
  • Managing outbound email campaigns and e-newsletters
  • Managing offline and on-line membership databases
  • IT administration and support

Cheryl Lim – Operations Assistant

Cheryl provides general operations and administrative support to both the Events and Client Services Departments. She was one of the developers of our proprietory Intellitrain Membership & Events Management System (IMS). She serves as the IMS Administrator and Helpdesk for our association clients.

Cheryl holds a Diploma in Internet Computing from Temasek Polytechnic.

 

Annie Chow – Accountant

Annie has more than 10 years of audit and accounting experience having worked with various large organisations.

A meticulous and detailed member of the team, she assists Intellitrain management with financial accounting, as well as putting in place relevant best practices, processes and procedures. Annie holds a Masters in Internal Audit & Management from City University.
