This Conference aims to promote discussion on a wide range of contemporary issues involving children and the law in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
It brings together not just experienced family practitioners and academics specialising in the area of child law, but other professionals who work with children, and policy-makers tasked with shaping policies pertaining to children.
Apart from examining current issues of concern in the areas of custody and access, the role of experts, cross-border enforcement issues, juvenile justice and the area of caring for children with special needs, the Conference also aims to throw up new ideas and promote the sharing of information amongst practitioners of different jurisdictions as to their experience in child issues in their respective domestic arena.
